Our Die casting service
Our Die casting service
Qualigie has offered high pressure die casting service to help many customers successfully make their production metal parts in the past 15 years. We have a dedicated R&D team that specialized in the initial prototype, tooling, die casting, CNC machining, finishing etc.
With our advanced technology, we can customize manufacture complex die casting parts with competitive cost and high quality standard level.
We have die-casting machines ranging from 120T-1250T, that can produce parts weighing up to 15 KG. Our output per day (24 hours) can reach up to 10,000pcs, based on the structure of the metal parts.
What Is High Pressure Die Casting?
What Is High Pressure Die Casting?
This process involves injection of molten metal under high pressure into a die cavity to form the final parts. It produces complex metal parts with excellent dimensional accuracy and smooth or textured surface finish with fast turnaround. The most commonly used die casting metals are aluminium, zinc and magnesium. It is the fastest technique existing for producing precise non-ferrous metal parts.
Cold Chamber Die Casting
Cold Chamber Die Casting
Cold chamber die casting is used to make the parts from aluminum, magnesium, copper and other alloys with high melting points. In this die casting process, metal is first heated to achieve a molten state in a separate furnace. The molten metal is then transferred into the casting machine. There is a pressurized plunger that forces the molten metal into the mold to form its final shape.
Hot Chamber Die Casting
Hot Chamber Die Casting
Hot chamber die casting is used to make the parts from zinc alloys, tin alloys and lead alloys that have low melting points. In this die casting process, metal is heated to achieve a molten state inside the casting machine rather than a separate furnace. A hydraulic-powered piston is used to force molten metal out of the furnace and into the die. It is a relatively fast process with a typical cycle lasting just 15-20 minutes.

High Pressure Die Casting Materials
Aluminum alloy is lightweight and durable, and ideal for complex geometries. It also have excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, that makes this metal a preferable material for various industrial applications. ADC1, ADC3, ADC5, ADC10, ADC12 are the general aluminum die casting alloy materials used at Qualigie.
Zinc alloy has low melting point, good fluidity, and easy to weld. It can be used to die cast precision parts with complex shape and thin wall, and also good for plating and powder coating. The most commonly used die casting zinc alloy materials are Zinc #3 and #5.
Magnesium alloy has the best strength-to-weight ratio, which can reduce the weight without reducing the strength of parts, it is widely used in portable instruments and automotive industry to achieve the light weight purpose. Additionally, it has large deformation resistance and good vibration energy absorption. Our magnesium alloy materials include AZ91D, AM60B and AM50A.
